Zusatzinfo/Inhalt	The Cello Concerto takes it’s inspiration from it’s subtitle “Bojjhangaparitta”, the Buddhist chant of that name. The work is in three sections and lasts about twenty minutes. It opens with a recitative for the solo cello which quickly gives way to a fast, busy and demanding scherzo. The final section is a slow movement based on the “Bojjhangaparitta” theme (transcribed from the chant), the work ending peacefully and with great dignity.
